SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lid for a container, in particular for a jar, comprising: a lid panel having a rupture opening region at least partially surrounded by a predetermined rupture line and having a fastening element disposed on the lid panel; a lever tab pivotally attached to the fastening element and configured to break open the rupture opening region along a predetermined rupture line towards the back side of the lid panel and thereby provide an extraction hole in the lid panel; a cover attached to the lever tab, the cover being configured to be positioned on the top side of the lid panel and environments with seal of extraction opening to cover specified extraction opening; and a blocking element configured to block the cover when the extraction opening is closed by specified cover.
