SUBSTANCE: in control method of active power of electric power plant, which involves the measurement of current value of active power supplied to the grid with electric power plant and rotation speed of free turbine, calculation of deviation from the specified value, calculation of set point value as per rotation speed of free turbine and further formation of control action on fuel metering unit, there additionally specified are values of power limitations, and control action on the fuel metering unit is formed considering those limitations.
EFFECT: invention allows improving the control quality at operation of electric power plant in high-duty grid at low values of deviation of current active power value.
