FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine engine building industry and may be used in electronic automatic control systems (ACS) in gas turbine plants (GTP) used for driving electric generators (EG) in gas turbine power plants (GTPP). The control methods provides for a gas turbine power plant being additionally provided with a gas temperature limiter behind the turbine to affect gas turbine drive frequency rotation setting during operation at turbine compressor rotation frequency not far away from the given value defined for each type of GTP by calculation and experimentally.
EFFECT: improved reliability of GTP and GTPP operation due to enhance performance of ACS of GTP.
