SUBSTANCE: method to control exchange of a protocol data unit includes stages, at which the following is carried out: an initial portion is identified for an initial protocol data unit; and transfer of at least one subsequent protocol date unit is rejected until it is identified that a final portion for the initial protocol data unit has been received, besides, the initial protocol data unit is divided into multiple portions containing the initial portion and the final portion, besides, the initial portion includes information on how to recover multiple portions, and at the same time the further protocol data unit has a higher priority level compared to the initial protocol data unit.
EFFECT: reduced appearance of incorrectly recovered protocol data units due to rejection of transfer of a subsequent protocol data unit prior to definition of the fact that a final portion for an initial protocol data unit has a higher priority level compared to the initial protocol data unit.
