FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fodders of vegetal raw material, in particular, to pediculate plants treatment and may be used for grain haylage preparation. The method for preparation of grain haylage involves mowing vegetative mass of grain crops before grain maturation during grain waxy ripeness with simultaneous mown mass milling into 20-30 mm sections, the mass transportation, trenching, compacting with subsequent tightening by way of coverage with polyethylene film. Grain haylage is procured of whole plants with stem laceration and grain crushing or of plants upper tier mown at a cutting height ensuring the weight ratio of stems with leaves to grain in the mown mass equal to 0.4-0.6: 1 or with cross milling or with simultaneous stem laceration and grain crushing.
EFFECT: invention implementation allows to enhance the fodder nutrition capacity.
