FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: haylage and grain haylage of forage and grain crops to be compatibly preserved are harvested in blocks consisting of two separate consecutive layers with a ratio by weight of 1:4. Wherein the first block consists of layers of haylage of leguminous or cereal grasses or a mixture thereof and those of grain haylage from grain crops. The second one consists of the layers of haylage from rape, or eastern galega, or amaranth, or Jerusalem artichoke, and those of grain haylage from corn of milky-wax grain ripeness. While laying the blocks in a trench, they are divided with a layer of ground hay or straw 30-40 cm thick; after filling the trench, the haylage and grain-haylage mass is tamped and its surface is levelled, sealed with plastic film, and pressed over its entire length.

EFFECT: invention use will allow to increase the digestibility of the product obtained and its palatability.
