SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and compositions of mixtures for making bricks. The mixture for making bricks contains clay, pegmatite, sulphite-alcohol wort and liquid potassium glass, with the following ratio of components, in wt %: clay - 91.0-93.0; pegmatite - 5.0-7.0; sulphite-alcohol wort - 0.9-1.1; liquid potassium glass - 0.9-1.1.
EFFECT: increased frost-resistance of articles.
