FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose of assessing the surgical radicality in skin cancer, removing the tumour with fatty tissue and underlying fascia is followed by the peritumoral intradermal introduction of 5% methylene blue 0.3-0.4 ml per 1 cm3. Then 5-10 minutes later, skin and underlying subcutaneous fat are excised, sliced in layers of the width of 0.5 cm, and a perfusion zone is examined. If observing a zone of dye non-dissemination, the presence of metastases in non-resected tissue is predicted, while the surgery is stated to be non-radical; and if the whole subcutaneous fat is occurred to be dyed, the absence of metastases in lymphatic vessels is stated while the surgery is assessed to be radical.
EFFECT: method enables assessing the surgical radicality in the early postoperative period due to the use of colour lymphography.
