METHOD FOR DETERMINING PROBABILITY OF DEVELOPING STOMACH CANCER Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G01N33/49 G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2465597 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: patient's blood is examined for the concentrations of pepsinogen-1 (PG-1) and gastrin-17 (G-17), and if simultaneously observing G-17≥10 pmole/l and PG-1≥25 mcg/l - a risk of developing cancer is 1-2%; if observing G-17 7≥10 pmole/l and PG-1≥25 mcg/l - a risk of developing cancer is 1-2%; if observing G-17 4-7 pmole/l and PG-1≥25 mcg/l - a risk of developing cancer is 1-2%; G-17 0-4 pmole/l and PG-1≥25 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 10-20%; G-17≥10 pmole/l and PG-1 15-25 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 1-2%; G-17 7-10 pmole/l and PG-1 15-25 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 1-2%; G-17 4-7 pmole/l and PG-1 15-25 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 3-4%; G-17 0-4 pmole/l and PG-1 15-25 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 20-40%; G-17≥10 pmole/l and PG-19-15 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 1 -2%; G-17 7-10 pmole/l and PG-19-15 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 2-3%; G-17 4-7 pmole/l and PG-19-15 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 4-5%; G-17 0-4 pmole/l and PG-19-15 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 20-40%; G-17≥10 pmole/l and PG-1 0-9 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 4-5%; G-17 7-10 pmole/l and PG-1 0-9 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 4 -5%; G-17 4-7 pmole/l and PG-1 0-9 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 5-10%; G-17 0-4 pmole/l and PG-1 0-9 mcg/l shows a risk of developing cancer 40-100%.

EFFECT: use of the method enables high-accuracy determination of potentially developing stomach cancer.
