SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, and deals with a method of examination of a subject with the presence of symptoms and/or biomarkers of an autoimmune disease for the presence of Helicobacter Pylori infection and atrophic gastritis of the body or the antral part of the stomach, which includes sampling blood, serum or plasma in the said subject; and quantitative measurement of concentration of biomarkers, including pepcinogen I, pepcinogen II, ratio of papcinogens I/II, gastrin-17 and antibodies IgG and IgA to Helicobacter Pylori from the said blood, serum or plasma sample, and comparison of an obtained value with boundary values or reference ranges of the values.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility of concluding about the presence or absence of Helicobacter Pylori infection and atrophic gastritis of the body or the antral part of the stomach in the examined subject.
