SUBSTANCE: invention describes a device (100) for processing laundry, which comprises a housing (200), a door (300, 300A), a locking mechanism (600) made with the ability to block the door (300, 300A) in the closed position and to unlock the door in the closed position together with a rotatable handle turned to rotate the door from the closed to the open position; a handle (700) to rotate the door (300, 300A) between the closed and open positions. In the open position, the door (300, 300A) supports the locking mechanism (600) with the ability to rotate, and a handle (700). The handle (700) comprises a first part (710) located between the door and the housing when the closed position of the door, and a second part (720) which appears on the housing when the door is in the closed position. The door comprises a bounding surface (329) for the first part (710) of the handle which rotates at rotation of the door (300, 300A) into the open position.
