FIELD: personal usage articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to washing machines. The washing machine (1) contains a manually controlled door locking device (6) intended for the door (4) latching in the machine body (2) when the door (4) is in a closed position and an electrically controlled preventive checking device (7) intended to prevent the door locking device (6) disconnecting the machine door (4) and body (2). The door locking device (6) contains a latching element (8) projecting from the door (4) in the direction of the body (2) front wall (3) for engagement with the corresponding through hole (9) made in the front wall (3). The preventive checking device (7) is mounted on the first wall (3) coaxial to the hole (9) and contains a latch (11) designed so that to enable movement between the unlocking position wherein the latch (11) can not engage with the latching element and the locking position wherein the latch (11) can not engage with the latching element (8) entering the through hole (9). Manual disconnection of the machine door (4) and body (2) depends on the latch (11) movement from the locking position back into the unlocking position and on the preventive checking device (7) containing a checking pin (15) capable of movement in the axial direction and designed so that to enable its movement between the projected position (wherein the checking pin (15) remains in engagement with the latch body (11) to prevent the latch (11) from returning in the unlocking position) and the spaced off position (wherein the checking pin (15) is not in engagement with the latch body (11) thus allowing the latch (11) to move freely). The first wall (3) of the body has a preventive through hole (17) for inserting the emergency opening tool (18) into the machine body (2) for forced movement of the checking element (15) from the projected positioned into the spaced off one.
