FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: chevron is located at the periphery of outlet hole of jet turbine engine nozzle to attenuate the jet, and it is restricted with two sides and a transverse line. Front ends of sides of chevron are attached to the nozzle, and as the distance increases, they converge towards each other, without intersecting, so that rear ends of the above sides are separated from each other. Sides of chevron are inclined symmetrically to each other relative to middle longitudinal axis the direction of which is the jet direction from jet turbine engine. Rear ends of the sides are connected by the above transverse line so that two lateral projections separated with an intermediate groove are formed. Side projections are offset from each other along middle longitudinal axis of the above chevron. Chevron is located at the periphery of outlet hole of jet turbine engine nozzle so that two chevrons following each other differ from each other and are symmetrical to each other relative to the above longitudinal axis. Other inventions of the group refer to double-flow jet turbine engine and its nozzle equipped with chevrons made as mentioned above.
EFFECT: inventions allow reducing the noise of jet turbine engine nozzle and air resistance of its chevrons.
