FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: resonance electromagnetic accelerator includes accelerated ferromagnetic object, and cylindrical non-magnetic tube with in-series located traction solenoids coaxially fixed on it. Accelerator also includes switching devices of solenoid windings as per signals of control device, switching power buses and capacitor power source, power switches, isolated drivers, bypass diodes, and current sensor and control bus.

EFFECT: considerable reduction of mass and dimensions parameters owing to application of one accumulator for power supply to several stages and possibility of accelerating the particles of various shapes and sizes to space velocities.
