FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is to create a method for quantitative evaluation of quality of shock-absorption of the body of a figure skater during touchdown after the jump. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the fact that the accelerometer, which measures acceleration of the shock, is transferred to the belt of the figure skater and is fastened so that its sensitive axis is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the body of the figure skater. Acceleration at the moment of touchdown is measured by the accelerometer, and the amortisation factor is calculated by the formula Ka=Wb/Wl, where Ka is the amortization factor, Wb is the indication of the accelerometer fastened on the belt, Wl is acceleration of the accelerometer fastened on the landing leg.
EFFECT: improvement of objectivity of evaluation of quality of shock-absorption of the body of a figure skater during touchdown on the ice after the jump.
