FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sizer comprises sizing chambers arranged one above the other and furnished with accumulation compartments, fractions discharge branch pipes and water feed system. Hydrocyclone sizing section of bottom sizing chamber have pump feed branch pipe inlets arranged opposed and shifted vertically. Pulp is fed tangentially in one direction. Top classifying chamber is provided with replaceable nozzle arranged on silt discharge branch pipe and slime separation guide arranged at an angle to slime separation branch pipe. Hydrocyclone sizing section is provided with conical reflection guide. Heavy fraction accumulation compartment walls feature reverse inclination and are connected with conical reflection guide. Heavy fraction accumulation compartment bottom is inclined to heavy fraction discharge branch pipe.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separating high-clayey sands of placers with minor and fine gold particles.
