FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to azeotropic or close to azeotropic composition, which contains from approximately 62.4 molar percent to approximately 89.4 molar percent of E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (E-HFC-1234ze) and from approximately 37.6 molar percent to approximately 10.6 molar percent of fluorohydrogen, used for obtaining or purification of E-HFC-1234ze, to method of E-HFC-1234ze separation from said composition, to method of E-HFC-1234ze purification from mixture of E-HFC-1234ze, HFC-245fa and fluorohydrogen and to method of E-HFC-1234ze obtaining. Method of E-HFC-1234ze isolation from claimed composition includes first stage of said composition distillation, at which as first distillate separated is composition, enriched by either (i) fluorohydrogen or (ii) E-HFC-1234ze, from first composition of vat residue, enriched with the other of said components (i) or (ii); and second stage of said first distillate distillation, carried out under pressure, different from pressure at first stage of distillation, at which separated is component, enriched as first composition of vat residue in (a) in composition of second distillate from second composition of vat residue, enriched with the same component, which first composition of distillate was enriched with.
