FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods of separating 3,3,3-trifluoropropene and hydrogen fluoride by azeotropic distillation with and without an added compound of an azeotrope former. The invention also discloses methods of separating 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane and/or 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropane, and 3,3,3-trifluoropropene from hydrogen fluoride by azeotropic distillation with and without an added azeotrope former. One of the versions of the method of separating a mixture containing HF and HFO-1243zf, where said method comprises steps: a. feeding a composition which contains HF and HFO-1243zf into a first distillation column; b. removing the azeotropic composition containing HF and HFO-1243zf as a first distillate, and either i) HF or ii) HFO-1243zf as a composition of still residue of the first column; c. condensing the first distillate to form two liquid phases which are i) a phase rich in HF and ii) a phase rich in HFO-1243zf; and d. returning the first liquid phase rich in the same compound which is removed as still residue of the first column, said first liquid phase being either i) a phase rich in HF or ii) a phase rich in HFO-1243zf, into the first distillation column.

EFFECT: invention provides efficient versions of separating said mixtures.
