FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of metal-bearing stock for metallurgical processing, particularly, to agglomeration of ferrous metal ores and their concentrates. Prepared metal-bearing material and binder are mixed, compacted and dried. Said ferrous metal ores and their concentrates, pre-crushed in energy intensive apparatus, are ad metal-bearing material. Suspension consisting of fine ferrous metal ore and/or concentrate and surfactant is used as binder, said surfactant consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose and, additionally, fatty-acid collectors.
EFFECT: higher strength, simplified process, reduced ore dilution.
