FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: display device includes a plurality of display interconnections (3) which pass parallel each other, a drive circuit (44aa) lying on one end of the display interconnections (3) and connected to the display interconnections (3), a first interconnection (Wa) which crosses other ends of the display interconnections (3) in an insulated state, and a second interconnection (Wb) which crosses one end of the display interconnections (3) in an insulated state and is connected to the first interconnection (Wa). When any of the display interconnections (3) is disconnected, a display signal from the drive circuit (44aa) is transmitted to the other side of the disconnected display interconnection (3) successively through the second interconnection (Wb) and the first interconnection (Wa) in that order through an amplifier circuit (A). The second interconnection (Wb) is such that the display signal from the drive circuit (44aa) is transmitted to the first interconnection (Wa) through a plurality of paths (Pa, Pb) which are different from each other.
EFFECT: reduced signal delay in the restored interconnection.
