SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital technology and can be used in generating random numbers and transforming data, processing noise-like signals, identification, authentication and authorisation, in stochastic systems and devices and systems for displaying information, information-communication and sensor devices and systems. Multibit devices based the invention are characterised by stable, functionally unpredictable behaviour, exhaustively complete parallelism and easy implementation, low hardware and power costs and high efficiency. The device which realises the method has a clock pulse generator, a block of nonlinear controlled elements, consisting of configurable logic elements and D flip-flops.

EFFECT: generating random binary sequences, which are source sequences for carrying out transformations and obtaining sequences with a predetermined period and properties, characteristic of stochastic processes.
