FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: this method comprises reception of signals from ICE crankshaft turn angle transducer (CTAT), logical mark pickup (LMP) and vibration pickup (VP). At every LMP signal VP signal is divided into multiple cycles. Note here that every cycle corresponds to crankshaft turn angle of 720 degrees. It is verified if cycles with varying parameters are excluded from said multiple cycles. Crankshaft actual position is defined with application of stochastic filtration and quasi continuous representation of CTAT signal. Crankshaft actual position is defined with application of Kalman adaptive filter or nonlinear stochastic filter. Generator of Riecz basis is defined proceeding from CTAT characteristics and approximation of VP pulse characteristic. Secondary sampling of signals is executed with replacement of argument. Inverse function is digitized. Discrete wavelet conversion is made to get discrete wavelet conversion of inverse function and to compute output data. Two-dimensional arrays are divided in compliance with predetermined indices in discrete conversions to calculate empirical function of distribution of probabilities.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
