SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and, in particular, to breeding and genetics of cattle stock. The immunogenetic analysis of blood is performed in animals of 20 days of age, and erythrocytic antigens-markers of increased milk yield Q, C1, C2, E, R2, L', L and antigen-markers of reduced milk yield B2, G2, O', P', X2, S1, H", U" are determined. The breeders are selected who have hereditary factors of increased milk productivity by the presence in the genotype of antigens-markers of increased milk yield Q, C1, C2, E, R2, L', L or their predominance over the antigen-markers of reduced productivity B2, G2, O', P', X2, S1, H", U", and having the combining ability.
EFFECT: method enables to increase the combining ability and significantly increase the milk productivity in cows.
