FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of genetics and selection of animals. Method consists in that in 20-day age there are exposed in blood of cattle presence of erythrocytic antigen-markers of two types: antigens of advanced butter-fat G3, B', D', G', B", G", C', U, J, B2, G2, O', P', X2, H", U", C1, R2 and antigens of decreased butter-fat A2, P2, E, U'. At presence of antigens of advanced butter-fat or its predominance over antigens of decreased butter-fat in genotype of animals it is implemented selection of animals. Method provides selection of animals with inherited bents for advanced butter-fat.
EFFECT: providing of ability to select animals with inherited bents for advanced butter-fat.
