FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method of forming a pedigree milk cattle herd using genetic factors, involving use of bulls-producers of most common lines in rock, selection of queens to bulls taking into account linear affiliation of queens and their productivity, where herd cows are distributed on intervals of values of value of milky trait according to root-mean-square deviation from average in flock: less than -0.5σ; -0.5σ…+1.0σ; more than +1.0σ and within the interval are grouped as belonging to genealogical line branches, differing by the fact that breeding bulls-producers have in the genotype of EAB-locus alleles, desirable or introduced (new), rare in frequency of occurrence in flock of given farm, as well as distinguished by their ranking by values of parental indices of bulls (PIB) milk yield, fat weight ratio, weight ratio of protein in milk, that individual selection for cows bulls-producers is carried out when referring them to groups less than -0.5σ by milk yield only by method of cross lines and its varieties, with milk yield from -0.5σ up to +1.0σ – according to the intra-linear selection method, with milk yield more than +1.0σ performing all types of selection with improvement of other features, for example, live mass, exterior, etc., as well as custom pairing to cows selected to a group of bull-breeding, wherein selection of bull-producer is performed from line most remote relative to cow line, having features providing improved selection according to main feature of distribution of cows in flock by statistical intervals (distribution curve) and with simultaneous participation in options of selection of two and more bull-producers from of each line.
EFFECT: method speeds up selection based on productive features.
