FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: every cube of mosaic is analysed proceeding from great number of parameters including availability of spots and their position on cube and storage position is assigned thereto. For this, means are used to allow dividing image being inlaid into graphical elements. Characteristics of the latter are analysed and compared with available cubes to distribute most similar cubes by said graphical elements with accepted tolerances. Final mosaic image is reproduced to allow, if required, a manual modification of cubes distribution. Said cubes are secured by whatever known process.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of inlaying.
