FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedure of thermal and mechanical and chemical processing of peat, and namely to obtaining of organic hydrophobic component from peat, which contains solid and liquid phases and is used for hydrophobic treatment of disperse materials. Method for obtaining organic hydrophobic component from peat involves peat drying in peat-and-gas mixture with simultaneous crushing. Drying is performed at temperature of not more than 105°C; at that, peat is heated due to inner heat released at friction of peat particles one against the other and crushing elements, and crushed to final particle size of less than 100 mcm.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing the safety of the method for obtaining organic hydrophobic component from peat and reducing power consumption at its implementation.
