FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials, particularly, hydrophobic loose materials used for flashing structural components, foundations, waterworks components. Proposed method comprises mixing mineral disperse material with hydrophobic-modifier additive based on hydrophobic component composed of peat milled to dusty state. Said hydrophobic-modifier additive is produced by adding hydrophobic component into portion of mineral disperse material in amount of 10.1 to 99.9 wt % of produced mix in terms of absolutely dry substance and heating produced mix to 175-700°C with no oxygen. Then, said additive is added to remaining portion of mineral disperse materials in amount of 10 wt % of processed mineral substance. The latter represents crushed cement clinker, milled clay or sand.
EFFECT: power saving, safe process.
