SUBSTANCE: drum type washing machine is equipped with a circuit (33) of short circuit with an induced coil (35), a rectifier circuit (37), and a control element (36) at the short circuit. Vd voltage of DC of the rectifier circuit (37) through the smoothing capacitors (38, 39) is applied to the first inverter circuit (22) for motor control (7) of the drum. The control module (30) for actuation the first inverter circuit generates a short circuit signal starting at the point of registration of transfer through zero of voltage of AC power supply and operating the control element at a short circuit at least during a part of the period of the process of moisture removal. Then the control module (30) then sets the width of the pulse Tw of the short circuit signal on the basis of a given voltage Vt of voltage Vd of DC set in accordance with a given speed Nt of rotation of the drum electric motor and a determined value of voltage Vd of DC. It is possible to adjust the voltage Vd of DC applied to the inverter circuit, to increase under appropriate conditions in accordance with this state.

EFFECT: increase of the DC voltage applied to the inverter circuit under appropriate conditions in accordance with this state.
