FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: washing machine has drum located within water tank, drum rotating engine, engine controller, and vibration detecting device positioned between supporting metal part and base of washing machine. Vibration detecting device has primary input coil, two secondary output coils axially aligned with primary coil, and magnet body made in the form of shaft and positioned for moving so as to pass through three coils. Two secondary coils generate corresponding output voltages in response to constant input voltage of primary coil and movement of magnet body. Gradients of corresponding output voltages of two secondary coils per unit of movement differ from one another. One secondary coil having high maximum and minimum output voltage difference is used for determining cloths weight. Other secondary coil having lower maximum and minimum output voltage difference is used for detecting water tank vibration.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by substantial reduction of vibration and noise during squeezing procedure.
