FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to rocket and space technology, in particular, to a method of launching a LRE chamber or a multiple-start gas generator with laser ignition of fuel using both liquid and gaseous rocket fuels, and a device for its implementation. Method comprises the steps in which, simultaneously or with a delay from the supply of the oxidant, they pre-supply the fuel to the combustion chamber in the area of focusing of the laser radiation by means of a preliminary fuel supply system, where the fuel enters the channel of the pre-feed system directly from the cooling jacket, ignites the mixture of oxidizer and the pre-fed fuel, fuel supply is carried out through the channel, after ignition of which the preliminary supply of fuel is stopped from the flame of the above-mentioned mixture. Device contains a combustion chamber with a nozzle, a cooling jacket, a nozzle head, channels for supplying an oxidizer and fuel to the combustion chamber with locking elements, at least one laser ignition device consisting of a laser source with an input and focusing unit, and a fuel pre-feed system for the combustion chamber consisting of at least one channel of the fuel pre-feed system with a locking element.
EFFECT: use of inventions allows for a minimal increase in pressure in the combustion chamber at the moment of laser ignition.
