FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal pump includes inlet and pressure cover plates 1, 2, housing 3, impellers 5, bushing 7 and ring 8 of hydraulic balancing device 10, housings 23, 24 of bearings 4, 15. Front seals of impellers 5 of floating type have movable ring with thrust collar and groove with rubber O-ring on the side of support end. In addition, pump includes mounting ring with slots evenly spaced on one of the ends in circumferential direction, which constitutes together with movable ring of slot-type seal an independent assembly unit that is pressed into housing 3 on mounting surface of mounting ring. Mounting ring and movable ring are assembled so that rubber O-ring adjoins the flat end surface of mounting ring, and movable ring is fixed in mounting ring in axial and circumferential directions.
EFFECT: improving manufacturability and reliability of floating slot-type seals of impellers of centrifugal pump.
