FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multi-stage centrifugal pumps. Proposed damper comprises barrel 4 housing piston 7 reciprocating therein and bearings 8 coupled with pump shaft 3 and cover 9 of piston 7. Piston 7 and cover 9 make two identical chambers inside barrel 4, tightly closed by additional covers 13. Aforesaid chambers are filled with hydraulic mix. Piston 7 with bearings 8 is coupled with pump shaft 3 via special shaft 11, its one end being furnished with special nut 12. To communicate aforesaid chambers, piston 7 has through holes 10 to be stopped by cover 9. The latter features elongated cylindrical part passed through wall of cover 13 of barrel 4.

EFFECT: ruling out mechanical contact between discharge device rings to reduce their wear.
