FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: combustion device includes flue tube in which combustion chamber is formed; main burner provided on upper part of flue tube and including pre-mix passage designed for ring-shaped injection of pre-mixed fuel gas and air to combustion chamber, radial swirler and fuel spray swirler. Radial swirler is designed for fuel and air injection to pre-mix passage in radial internal direction. Fuel spray tube is designed for fuel injection to radial swirler on its inlet side. Pre-mix passage includes upstream part passing in radial direction and downstream part passing in axial direction. Radial swirler includes swirl vanes and division plates dividing the swirl vanes into many stages of swirler in axial direction. Swirler is installed in upstream part for pre-mix passage. Method involves stage of velocity control of fuel flow supplied for each of the swirler stages.
EFFECT: invention allows controlling radial distribution of fuel concentration of pre-mixed gas by stabilising the flame supported by maintaining large angle of swirl vane of radial swirler for formation of return flow in combustion chamber.
