FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device has electrodes (1) which are in contact with water and connected to a detector into an electric bridge circuit. The electrodes (1) are in form of rectangular grids lying parallel to each other and the acoustic wave front. Electronic grids are placed in an electroconductive housing (2) in form of a box (cylinder) whose open ends are perpendicular to the wave front.

EFFECT: high sensitivity, wider frequency range and narrow beam pattern.
