FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: according to the stated method, a thermocouple is installed into a preheated cylindrical sample of a heat-shielding material arranged in a vacuumised chamber to measure temperature as the sample cools down. At the same time the integral radiation coefficient is determined by solving the inverse problem of heat conductivity.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of an integral coefficient of radiation of heat-shielding materials surface as a result of taking into account uneven temperature field in a sample of a heat-shielding material.
