FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: accelerometer has an inertial mass, a housing and an electrical circuit for a switch and recording time, an internal hollow sphere, having a nominal clearance from the outer spherical housing of the device, a suspension of four spring fingers uniformly distributed on its surface, mounted on it, connecting it with the housing and freely passing through holes in the housing. On the outer side of the housing there are electromagnets, the number of which is a multiple of two and is based on the number of axes of engine installations for adjusting movement of the spacecraft. In the inner sphere, there is a magnetic-susceptible ball whose inertial mass is sufficient for firm closing of the external electrical circuit, having a time synchroniser and meant for synchronising events of the operating cycle: switching off the electromagnet and closing the electric contact at the beginning of the movement of the ball; closing one of the electric contacts when the ball presses any point on the inner surface of the internal sphere at the end of its movement.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of the accelerometer.
