FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: transmitting devices installed on branch lines of overhead high-voltage line 6-10 kV activated upon appearance of zero-sequence voltage in line and reacting to ground-fault current transmit pulses of direct-current voltage by the line when it is tripped. Signal transmission is performed by transmitting devices in various moments of time counted from moment of line tripping, and at the same time intervals signals are received by various receiver channels for distinction of transmitting devices. In the device used is the method of signals transmission by pulses of direct-current voltage using high-ohm resistors providing galvanic coupling of high-voltage line with transmitting and receiving devices.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and reducing time for search during allocation of ground fault.
