FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: methods are described to select a service basic station for a terminal in a wireless communication network. In one version multiple basic stations-candidates for a terminal may be identified, besides, each basic station-candidate is a candidate for selection as a service basic station for a terminal. Multiple basic stations-candidates may include basic stations with different levels of transfer capacity and/or may maintain noise reduction. One of multiple basic stations-candidates may be selected as a service basic station. In one version a service basic station may be selected on the basis of at least one metrics for each basic station-candidate. This at least one metrics may be losses on the way, efficient capacity of transfer, efficient geometry, suggested speed of data transfer, reliability of a control channel, usability of a network, etc. The selected basic station-candidate may have a lower SINR, compared to the highest SINR among multiple basic stations-candidates.
EFFECT: increase of network efficiency.
