FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: technologies are described to reduce pollution with control signals in a wireless network. In an aspect pollution with control signals may be reduced by lower density and/or capacity of transfer of general control signals, whenever possible. A cell may send a control signal with the first density and the first level of transfer capacity during the first period of time, and may send a general control signal with the second density and the second level of transfer capacity within the second period of time. The second density may be lower than the first density, and/or the second level of transfer capacity may be lower than the first level of transfer capacity. Lower density may be achieved by sending a general control signal less frequently, at a smaller quantity of subcarriers and/or from a smaller quantity of antennas. A cell may define, whether density and/or capacity of a general control signal transfer should be reduced, on the basis of a load to a network, SINR terminals, etc. In another aspect pollution with control signals may be reduced by performance of control signals suppression at a terminal.

EFFECT: achievement of proper working characteristics, by sending and receiving general control signals in a certain manner.
