FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. The method for adaptation of a combing device with various characteristics of stand includes equipping the combing device by integration of its main module 1 with one of two mutually replaceable modules. The necessary height of combing is set, and the diameter of the combing drum 9 is set by means of angular displacement of combing bars of the drum relative to its radius. The facility for adaptation of the combing device for crop harvesting with various characteristics of stand includes the main 1 and replaceable modules. The main module 1 comprises a following platform with hydraulic cylinders 14 for lifting and lowering, an auger 7 with a bed and a combing drum 9 with detachably fixed combing bars. Both replaceable modules are made in the form of jackets with split clips on controlled traction rods for coupling with journals of the main module combing drum shaft. For a double-shaft version of the combing device there is a receiving drum installed on one of replaceable modules.
EFFECT: using the proposed group of inventions makes it possible to adapt a combing device to various characteristics of harvested crops stand, which provides for reduction of costs for harvesting.
