METHOD OF DETECTING ALCOHOL-ADDICTED PEOPLE BY MEANS OF PROJECTIVE TEST Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/16 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and is intended for detection of alcohol-addicted people, as well as to diagnostics in addictology, and can be used for detection of alcohol addiction in adult population in organisation of monitoring research. Using picture test "Non-existing animal" sum of signs in alcohol-addicted patients, in which presence of the sign is assessed as 1 point, is determined. Points are summed up and index of alcohol addiction (IAA) is calculated by formula: IAA (points)= (S₁×k₁)+ (S₂×k₂)+ (S₃×k₃)+ (S₄×k₄)+ (S₅×k₅)+ (S₆×k₆)+ (S₇×k₇)+ (S₈×k₈)+ (S₉×k₉)/9, where S₁ -is the sum on aggression scale, S₂ is the sum on anxiety scale, S₃ is the sum on low self-esteem scale, S₄ is the sum on scale of adaptation difficulties, S₅ is the sum on impulsiveness scale, S₆ is the sum on introversion scale, S₇ is the sum on scale of emphasised sexual interest, S₈ is the sum on demonstrativeness scale, S₉ is the sum on depression scale; k is alignment coefficient of between scales; k₁=7,7; k₂=10, k₃=8,3, k₄=2,9, k₅=12,5, k₆=8,3, k₇=14,5, k₈=20, k₉=20. IAA value equal 16.1 points and higher is estimated as presence of alcohol addiction in person, IAA equal from 0 to 16.0 points as absence of alcohol addiction.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to detect alcohol-addicted people.
