Sand art diagnostics is conducted by setting the theme of sand animation or using a free theme. Items characterize the behavior of the child – types of response. To determine the type of disorder and for the norm (H), each type of response corresponds to a specific value in points from 1 to 3, where the disorders are: childhood autism – CA, Asperger's syndrome – AS, Rett syndrome – RS, mental retardation – MR, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder – ADHD, cerebral palsy – CP, developmental dyspraxia – DD, oppositional defiant disorder – ODD. Type of response that is appropriate for the child’s behavior during work is selected, all points are taken into account for each disorder and for the norm indicated for this item of the questionnaire. Sum of points for each disorder and for the norm for each item of the questionnaire and the ratio in percent of the amounts received to the maximum number of points for the corresponding disorder and for the norm are calculated, where the maximum number of points is equal to: N – 69, CA – 53, RS – 43, AS – 37, DD – 31, ADHD – 54, MR – 43, ODD – 30, CP – 35. It is determined whether the child has a neuropsychiatric disorder, for which the greatest value of this ratio is obtained in percent.
