SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry, particularly plasma sterilisation indicator. A plasma sterilisation indicator uses azo colorant known and applicable for preparing ethylene oxide gas sterilisation indicators and thermal sterilisation indicators, and which shows fast discolouration in a method of cold plasma sterilisation with the use of oxidising gas, such as hydrogen peroxide with discolouration shown as clear colour shade variation. Azo colorant known and applicable for preparing ethylene oxide gas sterilisation indicators and thermal sterilisation indicators is combined with a compound containing a mercapto group or a dithiocarbamyl group used as a compound able to react with azo colorant when exposed to plasma sterilisation and thereby leading to azo colorant discolouration. Besides, they may be combined with additionally used polyatomic phenol compound and aromatic carboxylic acid as an anti-decolourant agent for discoloured azo colorant formed during plasma sterilisation.

EFFECT: invention provides stabilisation of discoloration manifestations during plasma sterilisation.
