FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for hydrogen and oxygen recombination. Described is method of manufacturing catalyst for hydrogen and oxygen recombination, in accordance with which carrier from porous valve metal, selected from group titanium, niobium, tantalum, is platinised, before platinising pores of carrier are impregnated with aluminium oxide powder with further burning of impregnated carrier. Described is catalyst for hydrogen and oxygen recombination, made in form of plate from porous valve metal, selected from the group titanium, niobium, titanium, and its pores, as a result of burning carrier, impregnated with aluminium oxide, are, at least, partially filled with composite product of thermal interaction of said aluminium and valve metal oxides.

EFFECT: increased catalyst activity and prevention of catalyst passivation in the process of its long work.
