FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fine diamond powders from diamond-bearing concentrates and may be used in mining. Proposed method comprises grain size screen grading of concentrates and separate dispersion of every group of grains, and size re-grading to isolate powder of grain size subjected to crushing. Said separate dispersion is carried out by crushing-and-abrading effects to isolate waste product. Said size re-grading is performed with combined coarse product after dispersion. Mean products of pre-grading and re-grading are jointly dispersed and re-graded to isolate fine products. Said fine products are dispersed to isolate waste products. Isolated diamond powders are subjected to chemical cleaning by hydrochloric acid and chromium mix.
EFFECT: higher quality.
