METHOD OF DIAMONDS EXTRACTION FROM ORES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: mineral dressing; diamonds extraction from ores. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of extraction of diamonds from ores. The method of extraction of diamonds from ores provides for a two-stage comminution of ores in the autogenous mills, extraction of the large diamonds by the luminescent separation, extraction of medium size diamonds using adhesiveness separation, re-comminution of the large and medium size fractions of tailing in the abrasive autogenous mills within a closed cycle with the following reextraction of spark diamonds by the foamy separation together with pneumoflotation with a following carrying-out of the foamy separation tailing in a dump. Before extraction of large diamonds by luminescent separation and medium diamonds - by adhesiveness separation a preliminary vibroconcentration of diamonds is exercised using the screen concentrators with return of the vibroconcentration tailing for a re-comminution by the autogenous mills in a closed cycle of the second stage. Desliming and fractionation of the fine grain material is exercised with application of hydrograding with following discharge of the hydrograding waste product in a dump and redressing of the sand-type product with application of the foamy separation, a pneumoflotation and a film- floatation. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of extraction of diamonds at preservation of the diamonds natural size and at reduction of the dressing technology costs. 2 cl
