FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed to make preassembled tire workpiece of preset length. Proposed device comprises feed apron. It includes means to measure first length cutoff side of preassembled workpiece and to generate measured length signal. It includes also means to measure second length of cutoff side of preassembled workpiece and to generate measured second length signal. It includes also means to measure second length of cutoff side of preassembled workpiece and to generate measured second length signal. Correction unit serves to correct differences in length proceeding from measurement signal and/or inner layer measurement signal.
EFFECT: reproducibility of results.
