FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nanotechnologies and may be used to apply highly efficient catalytic nanocoatings. The method includes melting and dispersion of a melted refractory material in a vacuum chamber with the help of a pulse arc discharge of low pressure, with pulse duration from 10 to 300 mcs, pulse repetition frequency of up to 1 kHz at the pressure of helium and reaction gas mixture in the range of 40-80 Pa, supply of produced liquid drops of this material into plasma, cooling of liquid nanoparticles generated in plasma to their hardening, and deposition of produced solid nanoparticles.
EFFECT: production of nanoparticles of a refractory material of narrow dispersion.
