FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: hinge for doors and windows, comprising a fixed frame (1) and a movable frame (2), profiles of which form appropriate longitudinal fastening grooves (C1, C2), every of which is formed by two tilted L-shaped ledges (3,4) facing each other or "wings" determining an upper longitudinal hole (5), limited with transverse parts (3a, 4a) of the letter L facing each other, besides, a hinge (6) comprises at least the first body (7), having the first cylindrical bushing and the first fold (8), which may be connected with the groove (C1) of the fixed frame (1) by the first fastening facility (9); the second body (10), having the second cylindrical bushing and the second fold (11), which may be connected to the groove (C2) of the movable frame (2) by the second fastening facility (12); a rod (13), which may be installed in both bushings and which determines an axis (Z) of rotation of the movable frame (2); besides, the first fastening facility (9) and the second fastening facility (12) comprises each at least two helical elements (14), inserted into holes (15) in the appropriate fold (8,11) and acting at appropriate stop locking elements (16), installed in the grooves (C1, C2) of the fixed frame (1) and the movable frame (2), accordingly, and acting at the L-shaped ledges (3, 4), at the same time each stop locking element comprises a flat bar or a plate (16) of substantially polygonal shape, when viewing from top; at the same time at two distal edges (16a, 16b) of the opposite sides of the plate (16), in parallel to the plate and on its flat opposite surfaces there are many ledges (18, 19), which, when screws are tightened, are introduced simultaneously frontally, i.e. into the longitudinal parts (3b, 4b) of L-shaped ledges (3, 4), and vertically, i.e. into the inner surface of transverse parts (3a, 4a) of the L-shaped ledges.

EFFECT: design of a window or door hinge with a fastening device, which is simple to the limit and reliable and at the same time fixes ledges inside a groove without necessity to alter the initial design of a hinge.
